Elizabethan Theatre
The Elizabethan theatre was a type of theatre built during the rule of the English queen Elizabeth I (1533-1609). It had a special structure, described to the left. The Swan, The Rose, the Globe - where Shakespeare worked, were Elizabethan theatres.
